Perth Jewellery & Gems has had an interesting metamorphosis, spanning more than 30 years...

Starting as a hobby, collecting shiny, cool-looking rocks as a kid, I developed a passion for Opal & Volcanic Rocks.

Over the years, I collected some really interesting pieces, including natural opal, polished agates, gold rich quartz & various stone slates containing Iron, Gold & Silver

Fast forwarding to a few years ago, a chance encounter with a major International Gem Dealer opened up a whole new world of fantastic Gemstones. Fascinated by the infinite beauty of these gems, I started adding Diamonds, Ruby's, Sapphires & Emeralds to my collection.

With the addition of Amethysts, Aquamarine, Topaz, Tanzanite & the extremely rare, Pietersite gems to my collection, I began buying, trading & selling my gemstones at various markets & hobby shows.

Pretty soon, I found myself being contacted by Gem Dealers & Jewellers from all over the world to purchase from my unique collection.

With the addition of a huge range of Top Quality Jewellery sourced from Local, Interstate & International Jewellery Artists, Perth Jewellery & Gems was born, becoming an official ASIC Registered Business on 23rd April 2022

What started as a hobby all those years ago, collecting shiny rocks, gems & nuggets as a kid, has now grown into a thriving Online Business of its own.

Perth Jewellery & Gems is a Professional Member of the International Gem Society, which allows us to further educate ourselves on Gemstone Identification, Lapidary (Cutting & Polishing) Techniques, Custom Jewellery Design & Making Techniques, as well as keeping up to date with the latest trends & international price guides.
